A cure for a longstanding problem
A lot of people tell us, "Sooner or later, most partners are able to deliver the required structure of our documents. But we keep struggling with master data issues." This is why we have created the Master Data Management feature. It allows you to create and manage value lists for information like unloading points or required packaging codes. Integrated into our validations, they show your partners not only if there is a mistake in their messages, but also which values they should use. But that is not all. You can also assign "negative" values to the entries in your value lists. This allows you to define values that are not allowed in your messages but should be replaced by the corresponding positive value. The user gets a hint on what value to use instead. For example, he could get a hint to set "DE" as country code for Germany if "GER" is a negative value. 
Easy list administration
Nobody likes to create each entry of a new value list by hand. This is why the Master Data Management feature allows you to import existing value lists as CSV or Excel files. You can also export your value lists to CSV or Excel files. This way, you can easily share the information with your partners or colleagues. You could also make Cargogear the central instance in your company to administer value lists. Just create accounts for your colleagues from all sorts of business units and let them manage the value lists they need. Somebody deleted the list by accident? Don't worry, you can restore it from the history since we use versioning for the validation lists.
